Using R C Remote Control to reach people.
We quickly found that we enjoy the R C hobby. Remote Control.
We have started with trucks that can be used outdoor as well as indoor.
We picked these truck because we believe we can race them without them climbing over each other under normal racing. But still run through grass and over uneven ground / pavement outside.
When we realized how fun the R C hobby is we thought it would be fun to take these too churches and other events to draw youth and adults in.
I hope to work our way up to at least 10 trucks that I feel would entertain at least 20 people by having qualifying races in groups and then a feature race from the qualifying races. Maybe more qualifying.
For indoor racing it will take a large area. I feel it can be done in a 30 x 20 foot area but would be best if a larger area. In a small area I feel we will need to furnish a protective fence around the race area.
Outdoor if the area is large enough I don't feel we need a protective fence. We would need to shield anything the trucks could run into that could be damaged or that would damage the trucks.
The trucks will have about a 30 minute run time on one battery so with stopping, starting, and time between racing we should get at least one hour of use with them. We may have two batteries for each in time.
I think that youth and parents will find this interesting and that parents will want to be there and get involved.
